Massachusetts Democratic Governor Maura Healey sounds like frustrations with ICE’s latest operations in her state, saying she found “disturbing” to feel about the arrests of about 40 illegal immigrants in Nantucket and Martha’s Vine.
ICE, who worked with various federal agencies of the law, on Tuesday performed a series of immigration application operations to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineayard. A gel statement said that “about 40” were arrested as a result of operations, including a member of the MS-13 band and at least a sexual offender.
The operations of the ice application and the elimination of Boston, the director of the Actna field office, Patricia Hyde, said that “the ice and our federal partners made a strong position to prioritize public safety by detaining and eliminating the illegal foreigners in our New England neighborhoods” and that “operations like this highlight the strong alliances that ICE shares with our colleagues”.
Healey, however, took a very different tone about operations. The Governor said that “it was very disturbing, needless to say, to arouse this news about this activity on Martha’s Vineayard and Nantucket,” according to Boston Herald.

“Local Police Chiefs have zero information about what is happening in their communities. We have zero information about what is happening in the communities. And this must change. We need to receive answers. We need to make ice clarifications,” said Healey.
The departure also said that Healey said that the arrests raised “real questions” about whether the federal immigration authorities fulfill the due process.
“It’s a thing to go later and guide -those who have committed crimes, who are here illegally,” said Healey. “It’s about when we see people, mothers and fathers, being started from families. The neighbors, their co -workers, literally, seems to be on their way to Nantucket’s jobs and the vineyard.”
Trump DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, however, told Fox News Digital that “ICE notified local authorities on execution operations”.
“Before the Governor criticizes our brave application of the law, she should put her facts directly, she apparently is the one with” zero information, “McLaughlin continued.

“ What we find “ disturbing ” and “ about ” are politicians like the governor of Massachusetts Healey Fighting to protect the criminal illegal aliens, ” he continued, “ our ice agents will continue to put life and safety in the line to arrest murderers, abductors and pedophiles that left our country open policies of Biden administration. ”

Martha’s Vineayard, which is a very rich and deeply blue area, was the starter in 2022 when residents quickly removed the migrants sent to the island of southern states such as Florida and Texas.
After the Governor of Florida, Ron Desantis, sent two planes with 50 migrants to the vineyard of Martha in September 2022, the island activated the National Guard in response and released a statement that called the situation as a “humanitarian crisis”. The 50 migrants were finally loaded on the buses two days after arriving and transporting from the vineyard of Martha to the military housing on the continental part of CAP COD.

On Wednesday, Jon Fetherston, a former Massachusetts migrant Shelter director, told Fox News Digital that “it is still deeply worrying that the Governor Healey finds arrests of about 40 undocumented people in Cape Cod” disturbing, “continues to reject co -operation with federal agencies such as the ice and the Boston ERO, until these agencies are targeted with known criminals. “

He continued, saying that “the application of the law was doing its job, eliminating people who are a danger to public security” and stated that “the majority of the public, including here in Massachusetts, supports the work of Tom Homan, Ice and ERO because they understand that public security must come first, regardless of political affiliation”.
“Even in one of the most blue states in the country, people expect their leaders to prioritize their safety of partisan agendas,” said Fetherston. “The real concern here should be the security of our communities, not political perspective.”
Healey’s office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital Comments Request.
